London is located approximately 200 kms west of Toronto and has a population of 340,000 people. London is known as "The Forest City" due to the abundance of trees and greenery in the city. London is the home of one of Canada's best universities, The University of Western Ontario, and also is renowned across Canada for it's health care centres. London is also the "Birthplace of Insulin" and houses the Banting National Historic Museum. Several major companies have their Head Offices in London, including 3M, Ellis Don and Trojan Technologies.
London is a very affordable city with a cost of living below that of the major metropolitan areas and where commuting from one end of the city to another takes no more than 20 minutes. It is also a great place to raise a family and has lower crime rate compared to the major metropolitan areas. London has an abundance of parks and recreational areas. The city is also conveniently located between Toronto and Detroit, a 2 hours trip in either direction and is within a 2 hour drive from one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Niagara Falls. London is also located an hour from the closest USA border crossing point, Port Huron in Michigan.
