The Ahlul Bayt Islamic Centre (ABIC), an affiliated Centre of the Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaat of Toronto (ISIJ), opened in January 1999 after over 25 years of families hosting majlises and other events at their homes. The community is comprised of approximately 60 families and a headcount of about 200 persons.

ABIC is run by a Management Committee that is elected by the members. The Management Committee carries out it’s responsibilities with the assistance of volunteer sub-committees. All community members are encouraged to become members of the ISIJ of Toronto. Members automatically get enrolled in the Burial Program. Details of the membership and burial program can be obtained from the ABIC Office or by contacting the Secretary.

The Centre is located in south London, off Exeter Road, just 5 minutes from Highway 401, and is approximately a 2 hour drive from Toronto, Windsor and Buffalo, New York and just over a 1 hour drive from Kitchener or Hamilton.
